I am trying to write simple applescript for Word on Office 2011 without success. I found this link but syntax is different for Office 2011 and google is not my friend on this task. Is there a good youtube to mp3 converter for mac. I just purchased a MacBook Pro laptop (w/Lion) for my daughter. I installed Office 2011 and it works fine with no problems. The files (Excel, Word, Powerpoint) that do not open correctly on my iMac open as they should on her MacBook Pro.

First I thought it was because I was using Endnote X4, but even after upgrading to X5, turning off my external hard drive and moving the files from Dropbox to a normal folder, I still get the same prompt. Once that is complete the notebook returned to normal and Office is working with no problems. Apparently the difference between computers stems from the fast processor and Fusion Drive on the iMac and a much slower process and HDD on the MacBook Pro. Microsoft support said that support for MS Office 2011 has not ended. So it is supported on macOS Sierra. I have upgraded to Sierra and Office continues to work but there are now some weird quirks that are bothersome.
